Lemania Indigo - Special of the Day - Destiny

In 1899 the Boer War had begun in South Africa, and in the spring of 1900, 350 artists donated works to the Artists' War Fund. Destiny was painted by J.W. Waterhouse especially for the cause since it's painted onto the picture along with his signature. The girl drinking a libation to the departing heroes was a favorite model for the rest of Waterhouse's career. Statuesque in her beauty, she casts a sympathetic gaze towards the ships departing for war. The painting along with a blue glass bowl are both included with the gown.

Lemania designed a gown inspired by this painting called apprpriately enough, Destiny. The paisely texture of the dress is the same color as the pictured gown.

The folder includes the matching pumps in the same texture and a pretty necklace with a jewel in the center. The gown, including the art work, is one of the Specials of the Day at Lemania Indigo for 100L. The funky curly hair is from booN KAR868 in blonde.
